UCaaS Update: PBX Data Exports, AI Greetings, and Smarter Reporting
This UCaaS release introduces AI-powered text-to-speech greetings (available for early access), new PBX data export tools, and enhanced call reporting. It also brings minor Android updates to improve performance and ensure compatibility with future versions, plus bug fixes that improve reliability across mobile, PBX, and Teams integrations.
What’s New
- AI-generated greetings are now available for early access. Administrators can create text-to-speech greetings directly from Auto Attendant and Mailbox edit views, making it faster to set up and adjust voice services.
- Bulk export tools are now available in PBX. You can export extensions, devices, users, and other configuration data, eliminating time-consuming copy-and-paste workflows.
- Call Detail Records now include a “Dialed Number” column and a dedicated view page with clearer call flow visualization. These improvements make call analytics and troubleshooting much easier.
- Minor updates to the Android app improve performance and ensure continued compatibility with future Android versions.
- The mobile app now handles fold/unfold actions properly on Samsung Galaxy Fold and similar devices, preventing unintended call redials.
- PBX call routing settings (Do Not Disturb and After Hours) now save correctly instead of reverting to defaults.
- Microsoft Teams domain verification setup is now more reliable. A clearer resolution path helps partners address domain conflicts during setup without engineering intervention.
Why You’ll Love It
These updates bring practical improvements across the board. You can configure greetings in seconds with AI-powered text-to-speech, export PBX data without manual effort, and gain sharper visibility into call flows with improved reporting. Mobile users benefit from compatibility and performance updates, as well as fixes for foldable devices. Administrators also enjoy smoother PBX and Teams integrations.
