ControlOne Update: DNS Resilience, Bridge Configuration Visibility, and Reliability Improvements
ControlOne now supports multiple DNS servers in conditional forwarding rules, giving partners automatic DNS failover when a primary server is unavailable. Bridges now show a clear completion indicator when fully configured, reducing uncertainty during deployment. A series of reliability improvements address authentication, portal navigation, and configuration workflow issues across the platform.
What's New
ControlOne Endpoint Agent
Agent (iOS) — v1.12.2
- Restored Entra authentication on iOS devices with phishing-resistant MFA policies, so partners' mobile users can sign in securely without interruption.
ControlOne Bridge
- Bridges now display a clear indicator when configuration is fully applied, so partners can confirm system readiness without guesswork.
ControlOne Platform and API
- Multiple DNS servers can now be configured in conditional forwarding rules, enabling automatic failover when the primary DNS server is unavailable and improving DNS resolution reliability for client environments.
- Detail pages for deleted objects now close automatically, so partners no longer encounter stale views or redundant confirmation prompts after removing items.
- Spurious unsaved-settings warnings during multi-configuration workflows no longer appear, reducing unnecessary interruptions when managing multiple settings at once.
- Firewall policy names that exceeded the maximum length due to IPsec NAT rules no longer cause configuration job failures, preventing interruptions in network security enforcement.
- Directory sync jobs now complete successfully when an identity provider email change overlaps with an existing user, keeping user data accurate and identity workflows on track.
Why You'll Love It
DNS failover support means client environments stay connected even when a primary DNS server goes down, reducing resolution delays without extra configuration. Bridge completion indicators give partners clear, immediate confirmation that deployments are ready, so there is no need to second-guess status during onboarding or updates. Combined with authentication and configuration workflow fixes, partners can manage ControlOne environments with fewer interruptions and greater confidence.
How to Access It
These updates are live now in ControlOne and are automatically applied. No action is required.
