Telivy Update: Reliable File Server Scans in Low-Resource Environments

Personally identifiable information (PII) scans now complete reliably on file servers with limited memory or processing power, even when scanning hundreds of thousands of files. Improved scan recovery preserves progress between cycles, allowing scans to resume where they left off rather than restarting or remaining stuck in progress.

What’s New

  • PII scans now complete successfully and report results on file servers with limited memory or processing power.
  • Scans automatically save their progress and resume from the last checkpoint during the next cycle, allowing large file servers to complete scans without restarting.

How to Access It

These improvements are live now in Telivy Agent version 30.6.6.0 or later for Windows and 3.6.6.0 or later for macOS. Agent updates are applied automatically, with scans already in progress resuming from their last saved checkpoint. For servers running earlier versions, update the Telivy Agent to benefit from these improvements.

  • Resend failed faxes directly from history, with the option to correct the recipient number before sending.
  • Archive and restore faxes from Desktop history.
  • Send selected pages rather than an entire document.
  • Improved reliability when placing Cytracom calls using Siri on iOS.
  • Parked calls from X30 desk phones now return to the correct extension instead of timing out to a different one.
  • Newly added contact fields retain their selected category rather than defaulting to Address.
  • Desktop buttons and contact fields now include accessible names for improved screen reader compatibility.

Why You’ll Love It

Give customers more flexibility to manage fax communications while reducing the manual steps involved in sending and organizing documents. Improved calling reliability and more consistent contact management also help partners deliver a smoother experience for their customers.

Telivy Update: Microsoft 365 Security Findings and Smarter Alert Notifications

Telivy brings Microsoft 365 security recommendations into a unified findings list, giving partners a clearer view of customer risks and the actions that matter most. Improved alert emails prioritize urgent risks by client, while performance enhancements make it easier to manage larger environments.

What’s New

  • View Microsoft Secure Score recommendations alongside existing Telivy Cloud findings, with consistent severity ratings and risk categories.
  • Keep findings focused on actionable risks by excluding controls that are already implemented, not licensed, addressed through other solutions, or marked as ignored, planned, or otherwise mitigated in Microsoft 365.
  • Prevent duplicate findings when Microsoft 365 recommendations overlap with risks already detected by Telivy.
  • Receive alert emails organized by client, with the highest-severity risks listed first, followed by events.
  • Exclude accepted and resolved findings from alert notifications to keep attention on outstanding risks.
  • Prevent duplicate alert emails to individual recipients through improved notification tracking.
  • Benefit from improved performance and reliability for large scan uploads, report generation, and vulnerability lists across larger customer environments.

Why You’ll Love It

Manage security findings across Microsoft 365 and Telivy in one place, with clearer priorities and less manual review. More focused alerts help partners identify and address customer risks faster.

Telivy Update: More Accurate Domain Intelligence and Microsoft 365 Vulnerability Findings

Telivy now gives partners sharper domain risk classifications and richer vulnerability context from Microsoft 365 environments. Domain intelligence has been updated with a dynamic, adaptive categorization system, and Telivy now generates security findings directly from Microsoft 365 report data, helping partners identify and prioritize cloud-based risks alongside their other assessments.

What's New

  • Domain intelligence now uses a dynamic, adaptive categorization system rather than a static category sheet and hardcoded detection rules, giving partners more accurate domain risk classifications for better vulnerability prioritization.
  • Telivy now generates security findings from Microsoft 365 report data, helping partners identify and proactively remediate security risks across managed Microsoft 365 environments.

Why You'll Love It

Accurate domain risk classifications help partners focus remediation effort on the threats that matter most, rather than working through outdated or imprecise category data. Microsoft 365 findings bring cloud security visibility into the same workflow partners already use for endpoint and network risk, reducing the need to cross-reference separate tools or reports to get a complete picture of client exposure.

Telivy Update: Alert Policy Improvements, Report Navigation, and M365 Risk Clarity

Telivy gives partners a clearer, more efficient security monitoring experience this week. Alert Policies now show every alert category in a single, filterable list. Complete and Legacy Reports include a linked table of contents for faster navigation. Microsoft 365 recommendations are now normalized into canonical Cloud findings for partners in Early Access, and PSA-side ticket resolutions automatically mark findings resolved in Telivy (Early Access). Reliability improvements round out the release.

What's New

  • Alert Policies now show a single, complete list of every alert category with enable/disable toggles and status filtering, so partners can manage monitoring coverage without paging through partial views.
  • Complete and Legacy Reports now include a linked table of contents, making it faster to navigate and audit security findings across long reports.
  • The Top Actions overview no longer shows resolved findings as critical, and the DMARC Critical Problems investigation link now works correctly.
  • The Document Type dropdown on the Reports page now opens reliably when the arrow icon is clicked.
  • Center for Internet Security (CIS) mappings have been updated with new scan findings, improving security compliance reporting accuracy.
  • Frontend delivery and performance improvements make the platform faster and smoother across all partner workflows.
  • Microsoft 365 recommendations are now normalized into canonical Cloud findings, giving partners a clearer and more consistent view of cloud security risks (Early Access).
  • PSA-side ticket resolutions are now detected automatically, marking the corresponding findings resolved in Telivy so partners avoid manual reconciliation (Early Access).

Why You'll Love It

Partners spend less time managing monitoring noise and more time acting on accurate, prioritized findings. A single alert policy list with toggles and filters replaces fragmented views, making it easier to see what is monitored and what is not. Report navigation is faster with the new linked table of contents, reducing time spent scrolling through long assessments. Partners on Early Access benefit from cleaner Microsoft 365 security data and a tighter PSA workflow where resolved tickets automatically close the corresponding Telivy findings.

How to Access It

Alert policy improvements, report navigation, the Top Actions fix, the Document Type dropdown fix, updated CIS mappings, and frontend performance improvements are live now in Telivy and are automatically applied. No action is required.

The Microsoft 365 findings normalization and PSA ticket resolution sync are available in Early Access. Early access features are available right in the product to opt-in. Use these instructions to get started.
