Telivy Update: Smarter Agents, Clearer Reports, and a Smoother Platform Experience
Baseline security reports are now easier to act on, with consolidated recommendations, clearer category breakdowns, and updated report views that better support client conversations. This update also improves agent management, uninstall workflows, device health visibility, session stability, integration reliability, and several onboarding and reporting issues.
What's New
- Baseline security reports now consolidate repetitive recommendations into a prioritized Task Summary organized by Critical, High, and Medium severity.
- Baseline security reports now include Center for Internet Security (CIS) category breakdowns and overview cards that more closely match the dashboard experience, making reports clearer for client conversations.
- Baseline report formatting and methodology have been improved. Executive Summary text now displays correctly, the CSRA methodology includes CIS categories, and per-category views replace the previous section-by-section layout.
- Tentacle admin tools now make user management easier. Admins can search users by name, email, or company; reset multi-factor authentication (MFA); create temporary passwords; manage permissions; and view detailed user metadata.
- The Remove Telivy tab now offers clearer uninstall options. Standard Uninstall preserves the personally identifiable information (PII) database for faster rescanning, while Full Wipe supports destructive removal and remains hidden by default.
- Offline devices now receive clearer guidance to use remote monitoring and management (RMM) commands rather than portal-based removal.
- Device Health v2 now aligns portal and script uninstall behavior, supports in-place update and repair, and adds filter and sort options to help identify stuck or in-progress devices.
- The Unity Platform now keeps partner sessions active with proactive token renewal. A fix resolves an issue where some partners were logged out after 10 minutes.
- Disk encryption status now displays correctly for devices using XTS-AES 128 encryption rather than showing "Unknown."
- Admins can now create team members without receiving incorrect "User already exists" errors when the user is not in the active list.
- Editing the domain field in Company Information no longer triggers a blocking "Domain Change Detected" error.
- Microsoft 365 email connection alerts are now more accurate, reducing false disconnection messages while preserving visibility into genuine integration issues.
- MFA findings in the Risk tab now display the correct CIS 6.3 control ID.
- Accounts auto-provisioned from Telivy now receive the correct project and user limits.
- Agent Auto-Update is available to Early Access partners. Agents can check for updates hourly, install them automatically, verify update integrity, and fall back safely if an update cannot complete. Windows and macOS are supported.
- Release Channels are available to Early Access partners. Partners can assign agents to Stable, Beta, Alpha, or partner-specific channels for more controlled rollouts.
Why You'll Love It
Partners get sharper client-facing reports, cleaner daily workflows, and fewer blockers across onboarding, integrations, sessions, and device management. Consolidated report recommendations make it easier to focus client conversations on the highest-priority actions, while agent update controls help keep environments current with less manual effort.
